Teaching students to give back to our community is something that Spotswood High School holds in high regard. The Fine Arts I class was given the opportunity to paint a mural for Chief Micheal Zarro and his police department. Mrs. Collins and her Fine Arts I class jumped at the opportunity to give back to their community. The chief asked the students to create a mural that reflected how the community felt about the Spotswood Police department. The Fine Arts I class was flooded with ideas. They created several different sketches and had several class discussions before deciding on their final design. The students started planning the mural in March 2018 and completed painting the mural by mid-May 2018. The Spotswood Police Department and the Fine Arts I class agree that the final results are beautiful!
