Celebrating Summer Reading

Celebrating Summer Reading

Spotswood’s readers were in the spotlight at the Spotswood Public Library’s Summer Reading Reception. The celebration recognized students who went above and beyond their grade-level summer reading assignments by creating unique projects inspired by the library’s 2026 summer reading theme, “Unearth a Story.”

Students and their families gathered at the library to view the projects on display and enjoy an evening of music, light bites, and awards. Honorees included Evelyn from Schoenly School; Matteo, Steven, and Christian from Appleby School; and Allie, Ava, Larissa, Abagail, and Tyler from Memorial Middle School.

Congratulations to these dedicated readers for keeping their creativity and love of reading going all summer long! A special thank you goes to the Spotswood Public Library for hosting this wonderful celebration, and to Mrs. Francisco and Mrs. Schneider for organizing the event and recognizing these students’ hard work.
